Additional information

The first 9 holes of Hurlingham Golf Club were inaugurated in 1892 and the second 9 in 1922. Hurlingham is very traditional sports society founded by British people where members practice polo, golf, lawn tennis and cricket among other activities. As many of the English golf courses, it was built near a railway stations. It is a 71-par course of 6,349 yards that, as many of the golf courses of those years, characterizes by its small and fast greens and narrow fairways. Hurlingham is always a good place to visit, not only by the excellent maintenance of the course but also for its surroundings. It was host of the most important tournaments of the Amateur Ranking (such as the Argentine Amateur Championship and the Argentine Interclub Championship) and Argentine Open several times, last in 2008. This Club also hosts one of the most important Polo Tournaments in the world: The Hurlingham Open.

The Expert's opinion

It's allways in great shape!
A very challenging old British Parlkand.
One of the cradles of Argentina Golf History.

The Good & The Bad

Pure British tradition
Great Maintennance
Poor practice area

Signature Hole

14th - Par 4 - 373 Yards - Index 6
This is a short, estrategic, target shot par 4, dogleg left with a water hazard.
In the driver landing area, 200 to 260 from the tee box, the landing area is only 22 yards wide, lmited by a loagoon on the left and three tall bumps on the right, so you really need to be precise with your tee shot.
Once you cleared that shot, a perfect circle small green of 20 by 20 yards protected by two pot bunker in the entrace is waiting for you.
